一、课程的性质、任务与基本要求

(一)性质与任务

本课程是高职高专的必修基础课。本课程更好地贯彻了《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》中提出的对高职高专学生掌握英语技能的要求,其目的是 培养学生具有较强的听、说、读、写、译的能力,使学生在打好语言基本功、能用英语交流信息的同时,也能掌握实际应用英语的能力,并为学生参加《高等院校英语应用能力考试》作好准备。 通过本课程的学习,能够帮助学生养成良好的语言学习习惯,掌握基本的语言学习方法,打下牢固的语言基础, 培养学生掌握必须的、实用的英语语言知识和语言技能 。同时,也要注意在教学中提高学生的综合素质,帮助他们塑造健全的人格。

(二)基本要求

根据《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》,本课程必须在整个教学过程中突出加强实际应用能力和语言实践能力的培养。重视语言学习的规律,正确处理听、说、读、写和译之间的关系,对学生进行必要的训练,通过本课程的学习,应使学生达到以下几方面的要求:

1 、词汇

学生应掌握 3400-3800 单词以及一定量的词汇(含中学所掌握的单词和词组),并具有按照基本构词法识别生词的能力。

2 、语法

巩固和加深基本语法知识,提高在语篇水平上运用语法知识的能力。

3 、阅读能力

掌握基本阅读技能,能看懂语言难度中等的一般题材文章、科普读物和与专业有关的资料等,掌握中心大意、以及说明中心大意的事实和细节,并能运行一定的分析、推理和判断,理会作者的观点和态度,阅读速度达到每分钟 120 词。在阅读篇幅较长、难度略低、生词不超过总词数 3% 的材料时,能掌握中心大意,抓住主要事实和有关细节,阅读速度达到每分钟 150 词。

4 、听的能力

能听懂教材的内容和题材熟悉、句子结构不太复杂、基本上没有生词、语速为每分钟 100-120 词较长的会话、谈话、报道、故事或讲座等,能掌握其中心大意,领会讲话者的观点。

5 、说的能力

能就教材内容和适当的听力材料进行回答和复述,能用英语进行一般的日常会话,能就一般的社会生活话题进行简单的交谈,语音、语调基本正确。

6 、写的能力

能就一定的话题或提纲在 30 分钟内写出 100-140 词的短文,能写简单的应用文,表达意思清楚,无重大语言错误。

7 、译的能力

掌握英译汉和汉译英的基本方法和技巧,能借助词典将难度略低于课文的英语短文译成汉语,理解正确,译文达意,译速为每小时 300 英语单词。能借助词典将短文或资料译成中文或英文,译文达意,译速为每小时 250 词。

六、考核办法及成绩评定
(一)考核方法通过阶段作业评定和最后一张综合作业加平时课堂表现进行综合考核评定。按百分制评定成绩,平时成绩占60%,考试成绩占40%。其中平时成绩包括学习态度,课堂表现,课堂作业,资料收集,设计进度等。
(二)成绩评定:
1、功能分区合理、满足基本居住需求——30分
2、顶面造型设计独特、照明设计规范——20分
4、能合理运用相关材料,界面设计符合功能要求 ——20分
5、方案设计色彩搭配合理,透视准确)——20分
7、设计说明语言叙述有条理 ——10分
